Our Charity Work

Every year at Mitchell Meredith we select a charity to support and fundraise for. Since 2014 we have managed to raise over £20,000 for the following charities:

  • 2014 – Breast Cancer UK
  • 2015 – Wales Air Ambulance
  • 2016 – Help for Heroes
  • 2017 – Our four local MIND organisations and YoundMinds
  • 2018/19 – Prostate Cancer UK
  • 2020/21 – Welsh Hearts

In order to raise this money we have taken part in a number of fundraising events including trekking across the Brecon Beacons, an 80 mile cycle ride between our offices, the Cardiff Half Marathon, 72 hole golf challenge and our annual charity golf day.

For 2020/21 we have decided to raise funds for Alzheimer’s Cymru. As part of the Alzheimer’s Society, Alzheimer’s Cymru are the Wales’ leading dementia charity. They campaign for change, fund research to find a cure and support people living with dementia.

As part of our fundraising and to celebrate his 75th year, Ian Mitchell, Director at Mitchell Meredith is walking the Wales Coastal Path in sections with the aim to complete all 870 miles before his next birthday in August 2022. As of the end of September 2021, Ian has completed 10 of the 72 sections and has a current fundraising total of £2,276..

If anyone would like to join Ian on one of the many sections, he would be delighted to have your company. He is selecting sections randomly and based upon the guide “The Wales Coast Path” written by Christopher Goddard and Katherine Evans. There is plenty to choose from!

If you would like to join Ian then please see below a list of all sections below and contact him via each routes link or call him on 07831323764.

If you would like to support us by way of a donation, then please see our JustGiving page.
